Stadler Rail Group, headquartered in Bussnang, Switzerland, is an independent and private owend manufacturer of rail vehicles. Known for leading out on cutting-edge products, their latest development is the EC 250, an High speed multiple unit train connecting Germany and Italy by running through the longest railway tunnel (Gotthard). Stadler Rail continues to improve rail vehicles’ environmental impact, technological performance and overall passenger comfort. The company has served Europe for many years and opened Stadler U.S. Inc. in Salt Lake City in Summer 2016. The company manufactures in 11 locations Europa, Africa, Australia and the US and counts 7000 employees. In the US, Stadler currently works on the Texrail and Caltrain Projects. Right now, the first two trainset for Texrail are manufactured at the Utah site.
